The Commonwealth of MA has lifted all remaining COVID-19 restrictions effective May 29, 2021, including the indoor face covering order.
In accordance with this guidance, Joi Salon will no longer require a face covering for clients and customers entering Joi. However, we ask that every individual access the most recent guidance found on www.mass.gov as it relates to face coverings, vaccinations and personal risk and wear or not wear a mask during your visit to Joi based upon this guidance.
Joi Salon staff will continue to wear face coverings and will revisit this decision at a later date.
Aligning with this guidance, we are pleased to bring back many of our pre-pandemic operations. This will include reopening our waiting area, beverage station and restroom. You will no longer need to call the front desk upon arrival and are welcome to enter the salon.
Joi Salon will continue to maintain our stringent level of sanitization and cleaning. Hand sanitizer will continue to be available throughout the salon. As always, we ask that if you or a member of your household are sick or experiencing symptoms of Covid-19, you please reschedule your appointment for the safety of our team and other guests in the salon.
We understand that there will be varying levels of comfort with these new guidelines and we have taken this into consideration in choosing to continue our staff wearing masks as an added measure of comfort. We will continue to monitor the state guidance as we have throughout the pandemic and will make any necessary adjustments should changes arise in the future.
